About
What is Warrior Development?
Warrior Developments tagline is “Creating Life Warriors”.
Warriors in my mind are those people who take control of their own life and live it with purpose. This is what I want to be able to give people. Not the title of ‘warrior’ but rather to teach people how be a warrior using all the abilities that they have latent inside them.
This site is made to provide people with information to change their life in a very real and deliberate way. To that end this site has 3 purposes:
- To be helpful
- To be interesting
- To be inspiring
Why?
In order to create change you need to know how to go about it (helpful). In order to make a change you need a spark to get over the initial inertia (inspiring). In order to keep the mind focused on the useful material that very material has to be interesting.
Why do I do this?
In my life I’ve discovered that personal change, self development or whatever you want to call it is what is really important in life. If I don’t look at myself and try to improve some aspect then I find that I quite simply drift through life. So focusing on my personal change gives me a better and more satisfying life.
There is another aspect to this. By bringing about positive change in my life, I react much better to everyone else that I meet. I’m able to create positive relations and do more to create a beneficial and harmonious environment.
These are the real things that I want to bring out on this site. Personal change for:
- Improving ones own life
- Improving the life of others directly and indirectly
I hope this is a journey that you will be interested in.
About me
Born in Australia, I have degree in Software Engineering and currently work in that field as a software consultant (developer). Away from education and work I have a keen interest in Budo (Traditional Japanese Martial Arts), namely Iaido (Japanese Sword) and Jodo (Short staff) and have been training in them since 2007.
I started my journey into self development at high school around 2001 when I found psychology and developed a strange attraction to it. Since then as I grew up I tried to gather as much information I could find about how humans work. Now I would like to think my knowledge is balanced with experience and I want to help others on their path while I work on mine.
