Absolutely Tom. The only thing nicer than passion is purpose which I’ll write about one day. I think starting out passion is easier to find and this can lead some to their purpose if they follow it.

Who can argue with passion? It’s such a delightful state. I like what Barbara said as well. We need to express our passion daily. By really letting it rip we come to realizations that help us be even more passionate.

The more often we don’t explore our passion the more our habitual patterns drag us into a monotonous uninspired life.

Great points – you’re right that we should spend some time every day on our passions – that’s what keeps them alive in us.

That is a good point.

So often fear tries to crush our passion. Telling us that it is silly and that we should be normal like everyone else.

It is absolutely fine for you to be passionate about anything. You will be much happier and healthier if you embrace your passion and explore it.

In a month or a year you may think it was silly for you to be so involved with it. But at the time it was exactly what you should have been involved in. Now you have changed as a person and are ready for something different.

I’d also add, give yourself permission to shine with your passion as well. So many times, we hear our own inner voices say to ourselves, who are we to be so different?

Sing your own song and don’t care what others think…and your contentedness should grow.
